Surely, one can immediately see the benefits of this orga to mecha technology. Suddenly, there is renewed hope for Skywalker-type arm replacements, but what about if you just want some shit enhanced? Technology is certainly an integral part of our evolution, so it makes sense that biology and technology will continue to merge as time presses on.  Of course, this raises some ethical issues, but put yourself in the position of the recipient human who will benefit from this.
